Studio Classes

Choose from our ever expanding variety of free classes catering for all levels of ability. Expectant and new mums can join us for our weekly post and ante natal classes. Classes take place in our air conditioned studios.

Master classes and special courses are also held at Sunstone. Please contact reception for more information on these.

Body balance

A 45-60min dynamic Yoga based stretch programme. It combines fundamental principles and practices of Yoga, Pilates and Thai Chi.

Body combat

A 45-60min class that combines powerhouse moves and stances developed from a range of self defence disciplines, including karate, kickboxing, tai chi and tai kwon do.It is an empowering, athletic workout that will have you “fighting fit” in record time!

Body conditioning

Free weights and body toning class to music. No choreography. Helps reduce body fat and increase muscle definition.

Body pump

A 45-60min non-impact resistance training programme, which utilises barbells and adjustable weights helping to improve muscular strength & endurance. It is a studio based group session which is led by highly skilled, motivating instructors who receive ongoing training to ensure every class is safe, effective and fun.

Circuit Training

Short bursts of intense varied activity to work the whole body.

Fit Fusion

A combination of Aerobics and Step which will be easy to follow but challenging. Excellent for fat burn, and toning the whole body.

Get Active

A 45min session aerobics – you will get fit here!

Kickboxing

Martial Arts based to improve overall toning, particularly legs and upper body. Also a great cardio workout.

New Body

A low impact fat burning class incorporating hand held weights to sculpt the upper body muscles and increase the intensity. – An overall workout!

Pilates

A specialized exercise technique that focuses on core muscle strength (entire trunk of the body). This class is excellent for improving posture & strengthening the back. Also improves flexibility, co-ordination and slims the muscles.

Pre/Post Natal

Conditioning/aerobic class for all expectant mums or those who`ve just had a baby. You can also bring your baby into the class. (Age up to crawling)

Swiss Ball

Workout.

Salsaerobics

Add a twist to your workout! Fun choreographed aerobics.

Step Beginner/All

Step to it! A beginners class, whilst toning and defining those lower parts during this workout.

Step Intermediate

A choreographed cardiovascular and fat burning workout. Excellent for shaping the lower body.

Studio Slot (6 Weeks)

These will be specialized classes that will be taught in a block of 6 weeks. The co-ordinator runs training courses like belly dancing, tai chi, and street dance so you get small group sessions over a period of time. These will be paid sessions.

Ashtanga Yoga

A dynamic and challenging method of yoga combining various postures together.

Hatha Yoga

A yoga class that includes breathing, various postures, relaxation and meditation techniques.

Iyengar Yoga

A straightforward but structured Yoga class which improves posture, flexibility, alignment and general body strength.

Raja Yoga

A spiritual, slow-paced class, particularly suitable for seniors.

Zumba Fitness

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba® class is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance class that’s moving Sunstone Women toward joy and health.
