Studio Fitness Classes

Choose from our ever expanding variety of free women’s fitness classes catering for all levels of ability. Including Yoga, Zumba and spin classes. Classes take place in our air conditioned fitness studios in Stoke Newington.

Expectant and new mums can join us for our weekly post and ante natal classes.

Studio Class Timetable. Studio classes are free to members including day members. 
 ** Classes available to non-members. A variety of classes are available for non-members for only £8.50 . Non-members can book up to two days in advance.

Body balance **

A 45-60min dynamic Yoga based stretch programme. It combines fundamental principles and practices of Yoga, Pilates and Thai Chi.

Body combat

A 45-60min class that combines powerhouse moves and stances developed from a range of self defence disciplines, including karate, kickboxing, tai chi and tai kwon do.It is an empowering, athletic workout that will have you “fighting fit” in record time!

Body conditioning

Free weights and body toning class to music. No choreography. Helps reduce body fat and increase muscle definition.

Body pump

A 45-60min non-impact resistance training programme, which utilises barbells and adjustable weights helping to improve muscular strength & endurance. It is a studio based group session which is led by highly skilled, motivating instructors who receive ongoing training to ensure every class is safe, effective and fun.

Body attack

A hardcore cardio workout which will tone and shape your body in great and amazing ways. take out your aggression whilst getting fit.

Circuit Training

Short bursts of intense varied activity to work the whole body.

Crossfit

A new and exciting way to train. A 30 minute workout including a non stop variation of cardio and weight training. Times of each participant will be recorded each week, so be prepared to compete and push youselves like never before.

Krav Maga **

A self defense technique designed for practical real life situations. Brutal fun and boosts great self confidence.

Street dance **

A cool and funky way to burn those extra calories. this class is suitable for all levels. Bring your A game and have fun with new and street routines.

Pilates **

A specialized exercise technique that focuses on core muscle strength (entire trunk of the body). This class is excellent for improving posture & strengthening the back. Also improves flexibility, co-ordination and slims the muscles.

Pre/Post Natal **

Conditioning/aerobic class for all expectant mums or those who`ve just had a baby. You can also bring your baby into the class. (Age up to crawling)

Swiss Ball

Workout including a swiss ball throughout the class. Great for overall tone and great fun.

Spin Classes

A great way to get a vigorous workout burning calories and keeping your muscles in top shape.

Step Beginner/All

Step to it! A beginners class, whilst toning and defining those lower parts during this workout.

Step Intermediate

A choreographed cardiovascular and fat burning workout. Excellent for shaping the lower body.

Ashtanga Yoga **

A dynamic and challenging method of yoga combining various postures together.

Hatha Yoga

A yoga class that includes breathing, various postures, relaxation and meditation techniques.

Iyengar Yoga

A straightforward but structured Yoga class which improves posture, flexibility, alignment and general body strength.

Zumba Fitness Classes **

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba® class is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance class that’s moving Sunstone Women toward joy and health.
